Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Stephen enjoys a vibrant teaching career at the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University and holds a studio of private students from the Louisville area. In addition to private lessons and college teaching, Stephen directs the guitar ensemble at the University of Louisville and has given master-classes in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
